Research

The orthopedic team in the German Medical Institute stays committed in research and medical education, which are essential prerequisites in providing the best orthopaedic care.

New and improved treatment options don't happen on their own. In order for new services to reach the public, extensive clinical trials and research need to confirm their safety and effectiveness. Working collaboratively with academic colleagues, industry and the wider public and private health sector, we aim to lead and conduct high-quality research across the breadth of musculoskeletal conditions in both trauma as well as elective orthopaedics.

We actively pursue staying on top of new procedures and treatments and we are actively involved in all steps of bringing new medical options to patients.

We believe that in order for the outcomes of our patients to improve, we have to constantly look for better ways to prevent and treat their injuries or conditions.

Among them there are significant differences in their background education, training, certification and licensing. An orthopedic surgeon undergoes vigorous medical training for over 12 years and is able to treat the whole range of musculoskeletal pathologies and of different severity, from a minor inflammation to a complex condition that requires surgery.
