Introduction
It is an often said and perhaps even clichéd statement that “People are an organization’s most valuable asset”. But we believe it’s true. Our team, and the effort they put into each day, into every patient, and into every situation, are what make us special.
As the German Medical institute (GMI) Human Resources (HR) department, we work tirelessly to motivate and empower every member of the GMI team. At the GMI, we have shifted from the traditional model where an employee serves the system, to a more dynamic view where the system serves the team members. Our work environment is not based on a culture of privileges but rather on shared core values, such as loyalty, respect, responsibility, and empathy. This is the only way that we can constantly strive to be better. After all, man has no limits to what he can offer!
Every member of our team at the German Medical Institute is special and unique. They are a valuable addition, working toward the targets we set together. That is why the Human Resources & Training team supports each of our team member’s efforts, activities, and needs. We take a professional, humane, and respectful approach to all we do, and are dedicated to our goals.
Dealing with illnesses, challenges and even deaths is not easy. It’s a little easier though if you are supported with care, encouragement, and compassion. These are the things that make our world a better place.
We consistently work on programs that educate our team members, that help them develop interpersonal-professional relationships, and more. We guarantee privacy. We have all the simple, standardized (yet essential) things that are core to our operations. But we go beyond these things, building a team with a heart that beats with the GMI core values. A team that ensures our compassion drives our innovation.
