Radiation Oncologist

Director of Radiation Oncology

Konstantinos Ferentinos

Dr. Konstantinos Ferentinos, Director of the Radiation Oncology Department, studied Medicine in his hometown of Ioannina and then returned to Germany, where he spent his first schoolboy years, to study for his medical specialty. His acquaintance with Professor Zamboglou was decisive for this choice. His main areas of interest are invasive radiotherapy and modern radiation techniques. As a curator at the Offenbach Clinic, he was in charge of the stereotactic radiotherapy department.

“My strong desire and ambition to be part of the creation of a new, fully integrated oncology clinic in a Greek place, led to me joining forces with Professor Zamboglou in bringing to life his vision for a new project in Cyprus, which will continue all he had learnt, done and achieved in Germany for almost 50 years.”

A personal desire, also shared by the rest of the team is, through scientific training, research and constantly updating our knowledge, always with a human approach, to stand with love and dignity close to the Person, and his/her needs.
