Our center is staffed with professionals from multiple disciplines in surgery, medical and radiation oncology, gastroenterology, diagnostic radiology, pathology, nursing, social work, information technology and administration. Our team is experienced in all subspecialties of General Surgery with training from multiple world-renowned hospitals. The German Medical Institute is outfitted with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. Our goal is to minimize the need for conventional surgery through: 

Minimal access surgery (also known as minimally invasive surgery or MIS). This is done by surgeons operating through small incisions using cameras and instruments internally. The result is minimal blood loss and post-operative pain and ultimately a rapid recovery and return to daily activities.

Most of these operations can be performed as day-surgery, without patients needing to stay overnight in the hospital.

We also provide services for malignant conditions. We treat cancer with a multi-disciplinary approach, where every case is discussed in our weekly tumor boards. We offer the highest quality, customized treatment options to all our patients. We also offer patients access to clinical trials and advanced research, whenever appropriate.

Additionally, we offer surgery for benign conditions. This includes pathology of the thyroid/parathyroid glands, breast, gastrointestinal tract (gall bladder, diverticulosis, appendix, acid reflux surgery), and anus (hemorrhoids, fissures, perianal abscess, fistulas and condylomas).

We perform consultations and small procedures in our outpatient’s department. These include regular breast, proctology, and general surgical clinics.
