Moments of life - EPISODE 1

As part of Movember, the month of information and awareness about prostate cancer, the German Oncology Center, in collaboration with Europa Uomo, created the "Moments of Life" series.
A series of narratives with stories of people who were diagnosed with prostate cancer and successfully followed treatments at GOK. In the first episode of the series, Mr. Pasias Christodoulos tells his own story, showing his mental fortitude and positivity that helped him emerge victorious in his battle with prostate cancer.

Moments of life - EPISODE 2

Our ‘Moments of life continues’ series, in collaboration with Europa Uomo Cyprus continues. In the second episode, Chiratos Agapios recalls his cancer journey at the German Oncology center. He mentions that his story showcases the importance of an early diagnosis, which he considers the most effective treatment. We stand by each of our patients, supporting their medical journey!

Moments of life - EPISODE 3

In the third episode of the "Moments of life" series, in collaboration with Europa Uomo Cyprus, Mr. Loukas Avraam describes his cancer journey. He was the first patient to receive Brachytherapy treatment at the GOC in 2017. He describes the German Oncology Center as a 'Jewel of Cyprus' , relaying his optimism that Prostate Cancer, particularly when it is early diagnosed, can be treatable. We stand by each of our patients, supporting them through their medical journey!

Clinical Psychology

Our psychologists play a multifaceted role in our institution. We are here to understand and support patients and their families through the difficulties of their medical journey. We also recognize the impact cancer, chronic diseases and other diseases can have on those who are caring for our patients, including our doctors, nurses, and other members of our team.

Pharmacy

An essential component of any major Medical Center is the pharmacy. As a healthcare professional, the pharmacist collaborates with the medical personnel and affiliated departments within the center. They play a crucial role in matters concerning patients' medications, always prioritizing the well-being of both the patient and the hospital

Cafeteria

There is a nice cafeteria on the territory of German Medical Institute, where you can enjoy not only the good cuisine of our chef, but also a wonderful view of the Limassol panorama. During the day, the cafeteria features live music, which creates a warm and cozy atmosphere.
